Ford Figo Aspire booking start at INR 30,000

Beginning July 27, 2015, Ford will start accepting bookings for its much awaited compact sedan, Figo Aspire across all its dealership at a nominal amount of INR 30,000. Smart to own and smart to use, the new Ford Figo Aspire is set to redefine expectations when it goes on sale in August and will be made available in 4 trim levels – Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+.

Customers will be able to book Figo Aspire from the choice of two responsive, powerful and efficient engines: A refined and sophisticated new 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine, delivering a peak power of 86bhp and fuel economy of 18.2km/l and a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine, offering a peak power of 98bhp and an outstanding fuel economy of 25.8 km/l. Both of these engines are paired to a responsive five-speed manual transmission.

For those looking for the sophisticated refinement of an Automatic Transmission, Figo Aspire can be booked with a six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission paired with a 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol engine, offering a peak power of 110bhp and a fuel economy of 17.2 km/l. The Figo Aspire will be available in seven all-new colours – Ruby Red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey.

It sets a new standard for compact cars in India with a sub-four-meter sedan combining premium design, class-leading safety features and advanced technologies. This latest compact sedan from Ford is designed to turn heads with an elegant, striking design that sets it apart from competitors. The sophisticated exterior of the Figo Aspire is complemented by a modern interior that delivers an extraordinary experience for a sub-4 metre car.

Reflecting on the importance of safety, the Figo Aspire will be the first compact sedan in India to offer driver and passenger airbags standard across all variants. It is also the first sub-4-meter sedan to offer side and curtain airbags for an extra level of protection.

Understanding the growing importance of technology in customers’ lives, Ford is introducing several first-in-class technological features like an innovative MyFord Dock with the Figo Aspire. The feature allows drivers to store, mount and charge mobile phones, MP3 players and satellite navigation systems, and to integrate these devices into the car’s entertainment system.

The Figo Aspire will also introduce Ford MyKey that allows owners to program keys with restricted driving modes that encourage good habits, such as increasing seat belt use, limiting vehicle top speeds and regulating audio volume.
