The new-generation Audi TT-RS won’t be having a manual transmission as per a report from Car & Driver. The RS version of the TT will be based on the new-generation of the sports car and will be launched in 2016. The new Audi TT-RS will have a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine that will be producing 400bhp of power, something similar to what we have seen on the Audi RS3. There will be no manual transmission offered on the new TT-RS. The transmission will be a seven-speed dual-clutch. The TT-RS will be launched in the second half of 2016. The TT-RS will look somewhat similar to the TT Quattro Sport Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The RS3’s power will be bumped up to 400 ponies.
