Hyundai has finally launched the Creta, its new compact SUV with prices starting at INR 9.35 lakhs (on-road, Delhi). The Creta will be competing with the Renault Duster and the Nissan Terrano. The Creta is offered with three engine options (one petrol and two diesels). The Creta is the first compact SUV to be offered with a diesel automatic.

The Creta is offered with Base, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX(O) variants. The top-of-the-line SX(O) variant gets keyless entry, push start and stop, touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera, satellite navigation and even six airbags. The Creta will be made available with three years, unlimited kilometres warranty. The Creta is also offered with 17-inch tyres on the top-of-the-line SX(O) variant.

The petrol is a 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces121bhp of power and comes with a six-speed manual transmission. The 1.4-litre diesel engine produces 90bhp and comes with a six-speed manual too.
