Hyundai’s Creta SUV prices have been leaked just a day before the launch of the compact SUV. The new Creta SUV will be priced at INR 10.34 lakhs (on-road) for the 1.6-litre petrol model, base variant. There will be a total of 10 variants on offer on the Hyundai Creta. These include three variants for the petrol, three variants for the 1.4-litre diesel and four for 1.6-litre diesel. There are some variants missing as the 1.6-litre petrol automatic cannot be seen in the list.
The Creta will be made available between INR 10.34 lakhs to INR 16.24 lakhs. The Creta will be launched on 21st of July and this will be the company’s first compact SUV. We did get our hands on the Creta for a short spin and following is our preview of the Creta. This compact SUV will be made available with 1.6-litre petrol engine that churns out 121bhp of power and will come with six-speed manual transmission.
The diesels will be the 1.4-litre with 89bhp and six-speed manual and the 1.
6-litre with 125bhp and six-speed manual and automatic transmission options.
The Creta will come with several first in class features like keyless entry, push start and stop, reverse parking camera, six airbags and even diesel automatic. This will help Hyundai to attract more buyers when compared to the Nissan Terrano and the Renault Duster. Hyundai had commenced manufacturing Creta last month itself and now the Korean automaker already has over 10,000 confirmed bookings. This is likely to revolutionise this segment and this is the pricing that we had expected as well.
