Hyundai Creta is making headlines everyday as it inches closer to its official launch, which is going to take place on July 21st, 2015. The dealer dispatch of the new compact SUV from Hyundai has started and the customer response is overwhelming, as reported by several dealers. We have come up with a confirmed list of variants and features are going to be offered with the Hyundai Creta. The Creta SUV would be available with three engines in total.

Hyundai Creta would be introduced with two diesel motors – 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre, while the 1.6-litre petrol engine would be available as well. The 1.4-litre diesel would be offered in three variants – Base (L), S and S+, while the 1.6-litre diesel would be presented in three grades: SX, SX+ and SX (O). The petrol variants with 1.6-litre engine would come in three trim- Base (L), S and SX+. The only automatic variant would be launching in SX+ trim level. Standard features available with the entire variant line-up of Hyundai Creta would be Body coloured bumpers, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Rear A/C Vents, Electric tailgate release, 2-Din Audio with CD, AUX, USB, iPOD connectivity, and four speakers.

As we move to the S grade, it would be equipped with features like Front fog lamps, Rear defogger, Rear centre armrest with cup holders, 5-inch touchscreen audio with MP3 and Bluetooth compatibility, 3 GB internal storage, steering mounted audio and bluetooth controls, four speakers with two tweeters, height adjustable driver’s seat, etc. to name a few. The S+ option pack would come with a few added features in form of dual front SRS airbags, impact sensing Auto door lock, alloy wheels, and rear parking camera with sensores. The SX variant would also get most of the aforementioned features, besides getting couple more premium features in form of electric folding ORVM and Rear wiper and washer.

Coming to range-topping SX (O) variant, it would feature 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, electrnic stability control (ESC), hill assist control (HAC), side and curtain airbags, 7-inch Audio/Video/Navigation system, Smart Key with push start/stop button, lane change indicator etc. to mention a few. As for pricing, Hyundai Creta would be priced in range of 8.50-12.50 lakhs (on-road), while pitted against the likes of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Maruti S-Cross and higher variants of Ford EcoSport.
