Hyundai Creta is almost a week’s time away from hitting the Indian roads, and the folks at Team-BHP have successfully uploaded the images of its brochure. Though, it doesn’t seem to be authentic due to many printing errors. Being touted as the most anticipated launch of 2015, the Hyundai Creta would launch on 21st July in the country in an estimated price range of INR 8.5-13 lakhs (on-road). The bookings for the compact SUV has already started at the company dealerships nationwide at a token amount of INR 21,000.

Hyundai Creta would be launched in six trim levels: Base, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX (O). The South-Korean automajor would offer it with one petrol and two diesel engines. The leaked brochure reveals the dimensions of the Creta compact SUV, which are 4270mm length, 1780mm width, 1630mm height and 2590mm wheelbase. For those wondering, the China-specific Hyundai ix25, upon which Creta is said to be based, also measures exactly 4270mm or 4.27m in length. The brochure further tells that Creta would be launched in a total of 7 paint schemes. Hyundai has started the dealer dispatch of Creta and the SUV can be seen arriving at several company dealerships across the nation.

Mechanically, the Creta would be sharing its engine options with the Verna mid-sized sedan. It would come with a 1.4-litre diesel, 1.6-litre diesel and a 1.6-litre petrol engine. During the media drives concluded a fortnight back of the Creta, the company revealed the power output of 1.6-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine to be 128PS. However, the leaked brochure, surprisingly, states that it would be 133PS, which raise suspicions over its credibility. All the engines would be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Also, a six-speed automatic transmission would be available with the SX+ variant in 1.6-litre diesel fuel trim. The Creta would be locally manufactured at Hyundai’s Chennai production facility with over 95 percent of local content.
