Maruti YRA’s exterior and interior shots are revealed as one of the test mules was shot. MotorOctane was the first website to reveal the images of the YRA and now more clear images surface. The YRA’s front grille resembles the Swift, however the side profile is long and looks sporty. The rear styling is new on Suzukis, but can be called as a modified design of the A-Star. On the inside, the YRA gets the same steering wheel like the new-generation Marutis. Also, there is the new instrument cluster with twin dials and a similar centre console that we had shared in our images. The Maruti YRA will be getting a touchscreen system and a new design for the centre console too. This design for the instrument panel isn’t seen on any other Maruti Suzuki yet. The YRA will get keyless entry, push start and stop, cruise control, reverse parking camera, integrated touchscreen infotainment system and Bluetooth connectivity too.

The YRA gets a charging point for the rear passengers too and then there is also the mobile phone holder. The European spec car also gets front seat warmers, which will go missing for the Indian car and it instead get rear AC vents. The YRA will be Maruti’s answer to the Hyundai Elite i20 and the new generation Honda Jazz. It will be made available with a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine, 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The YRA will be priced between INR 6.5-9.5 lakhs (on-road). This won’t be launched in India before mid-2016. It will first be launched in Europe and will be exported from India.
