Yesterday, we showed you the first clear image of the Hyundai Creta, which would officially launch in the country on 21st July, 2015. Now, we have some more images of the compact SUV in its production-ready avatar.

The advance booking for the Creta SUV has already begun nation-wide at a token amount in excess of INR 25,000. In case you missed out, you can get updates on Creta and even request a test drive of the compact SUV on Hyundai India’s new official micro-site dedicated to Creta.

As almost everyone knows, Hyundai Creta adorns the company’s latest Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. The Creta SUV flaunts a triple-slat hexagonal front grille, projector headlamps with silver accents and LED daytime running lights, and square-shaped fog lamps.

In addition, the company has left no stone unturned to make it a complete sporty crossover by incorporating silver skid plates at the front and rear, full body cladding and blackened A and B-pillars, roof rails, wheel arches and skirting. In fact, the range-topping variant would boast of chrome lining on the windows and tail lamps, chrome door handles, chrome inserts on the bumpers and a shark fin antenna.

Going by the interior pics that we have, it can be said that the Creta shares the most of its interior elements with the i20. It comprises of a dual-tone black and beige dashboard with silver accents, multi-function steering wheel, climate control, LCD display for the infotainment system and fabric seats.

The door pads are also a part of this dual-tone color scheme, while door handles have chrome garnishing. The images show that the compact SUV has a 6-speed manual transmission. Mechanically, the crossover SUV would get Verna’s 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. It would be the first vehicle in its segment to have an automatic variant as none of its competitors – Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, and Maruti S-Cross – have an automatic variant.
