Hyundai Creta spotted without any camouflage

Hyundai’s Creta has been spotted without any camouflage and this is the production version. The Creta has been spotted by a Team-BHP and Motoroids reader. The Creta is a compact SUV that will compete with the Renault Duster and the Nissan Terrano.

Hyundai’s Creta has a design DNA that is a lot similar to the Santa Fe. The Creta gets a chrome horizontal slats and the styling of the headlamps gives a similar fascia to the Santa Fe. It does look a lot premium and stylish as well. The headlamps have daytime running lamps, making it the first SUV in this segment to get them. Hyundai has given it 16-inch tyres too and the ground clearance should be about 200mm.

Hyundai Creta will be launched in July and it will be powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine and 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engine options. There will also be an automatic in the offering, which will make it the only SUV in this segment to have an automatic. Hyundai has made several changes on the Creta to make it suitable for Indian car market, just like how it did for the Grand i10. The Creta will seat five people and will be loaded with several features too.

The Creta will be priced between INR 11-16 lakhs (on-road) and soon even Maruti Suzuki will be introducing the S-Cross in this segment. Read our comparison of the Creta vs S-Cross vs Duster to give you an understanding of how the three SUVs will look like when put against each other.
