Maruti Suzuki YRA has been spotted without any camouflage by our friends at GaadiWaadi. The YRA will be competing with the Hyundai Elite i20 and the Honda Jazz. The YRA will be more premium than the Swift and it will be powered by a 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine, 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and will produce about 100bhp of power and will also come with a 1.5-litre diesel engine too.

The YRA will be about 4.2 metres in length, however for India its length will be reduced to just under 4 metres. This will be done to reduce the duty and make it a lot more affordable than before. Maruti Suzuki will be powering the YRA with a new engine and will be sold through Maruti’s new premium dealership called as NEXA.

The price of the YRA will be about INR 6.5-9.5 lakhs (on-road) and it will come in V, V+, Z and Z+ variants. The YRA is based on the Ciaz platform and will share the showroom space also with the sedan and S-Cross.
