Abarth Punto will be coming to India and the car has been spotted with a lot of details. The exterior styling of the Punto Evo has got some tweaks to make it look different. First thing you notice are the stylish alloy wheels and a new paint scheme, something similar that we saw even on the Punto Sports that was showcased at 2010 Auto Expo.

On the inside though there hasn’t been a major change, except maybe the instrument cluster. The Abarth Punto will have larger tyres and wheels, new paint scheme, stiffer suspension for better handling and will be smoked-out headlamps as well. The Abarth Punto will be powered by a 1.

4-litre T-Jet petrol engine that produces 133bhp of power and will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

This will cost about INR 9-10 lakhs (on-road) and will be the only hot hatchback with over 120bhp of power in this price segment. The Abarth Avventura too will be making its way. This will be the raised version and it could compete with Ford’s Ecosport Ecoboost engine, though this will be a lot more powerful.

Abarth Punto, Avventura and even the 500 will be getting an Abarth section in the existing Fiat dealership.
