Range Rover SVAutobiography coming to India -EXCLUSIVE

Range Rover SVAutobiography will be making its way into India, one of our sources mentioned this to us recently. The deliveries won’t commence before August, but some of the JLR dealerships will start taking orders for the Range Rover SVAutobiography.

The pricing of the Range Rover SVAutobiography will be about INR 4 crores (on-road) approximately and this will also be a complete body unit import (CBU). The SVAutobiography is custom-made by JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. The SVO has also made the Range Rover Sport SVR, which is also making its way into India very soon.

Much of the driver’s switchgear including the start-stop surround and rotary controls are machined from solid aluminium with beautiful knurled details, as are the foot pedals. This detailing continues to both the front and rear centre consoles, with distinctive materials for the cup holder and socket covers. New armrest adjusters not only bring a similar level of machined detail, but also make them even easier to use.

Jaguar Land Rover India has been formed on 1^st of April 2015 and now it isn’t anymore acting as a distributor. It is now a sales company and even the company’s Worli dealership might be sold to another dealer. There were initially talks with Navneet Motors, which already has a Land Rover dealership in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and it even recently got Jaguar dealership too.
