Maruti S-Cross to come in six colours

Maruti Suzuki will be launching the new Celerio Diesel this month and soon after that it will be the SX4 Cross. This new crossover will be available in six colours:

• Cosmic Black Pearl
• Metallic Arctic White Pearl
• Galactic Grey Metallic
• Boost Blue Pearl Metallic
• Bison Brown Pearl Metallic
• Silky Silver Metallic

This was stated by GaadiWaadi in a latest report from the website. The S-Cross will be made available in 1.4-litre petrol engine and an 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. The two diesel engine options will be done just because even Hyundai will be introducing the ix25 with a 1.6-litre diesel engine and this will be a reason why Maruti Suzuki will want to give a crossover that is underpowered.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will be made available in V, V+, Z and Z+ variants and the top-of-the-line variant will get touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking camera, push start and stop button and even keyless entry. The SX4 Cross is based on the SX4 sedan and it will have a ground clearance of close to 200mm. The S-Cross might be renamed as Across or Crossa as we had first stated in our story, however one of our sources mention that Maruti Suzuki might have just got the green signal to use S-Cross.

As Hyundai will also be launching the ix25, Maruti Suzuki will not want to lose out any time and the company is gearing to introduce the SX4 Cross in July or maybe August. These two will compete with the Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano.
