2018 Nissan Terrano 

The Nissan Terrano now has some additional features. For instance, it now gets a new steering wheel. A new instrument cluster with three dials also comes in. This has replaced the old two dial cluster. The backlit has changed from orange to white. The other additional features in the Nissan Terrano are like electrically folding mirrors, turn indicators on the mirror, new door trims, Hill Assist Control, Electronic Stability Program, anti-pinch driver window, new door trim, soft touch plastics and a driver arm rest also.

The 2018 Nissan Terrano comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces about 108bhp of power. This engine comes mated to a six-speed AMT box that will send power to the front wheels. This engine and transmission is shared with the Duster AMT too.  At the moment, it is majorly the Datsun brand that is churning out sales for the company. This engine is noisy, however the vibration and harshness isn’t very high. The performance is more than sufficient and it even has good torque. The AMT is also quite responsive. The regular 1.5-litre diesel engine with five-speed and six-speed manual transmission will be on offer too. At the same time, the 1.6-litre petrol engine shall also continue on sale as well.

The ARAI claimed fuel efficiency for the 2018 Nissan Terrano is 19.1 km/l. This being 108bhp and 6-speed AMT, the fuel efficiency is good enough. Nissan is offering the Terrano AMT with this diesel engine only. There won’t be one with a lower powered diesel or even the petrol engine either.
