New Fiat Linea’s interiors revealed
The next-generation Fiat Linea replacement will be unveiled on 21st May, just a few days before that Italian website CarPassion has caught the interiors of the new Linea. The new Linea will replace the Bravo range also, and will get a new name too. The interiors of the new Fiat C-sedan are brand new as you can see the new larger music system on the top, followed by air-con vents and then the three knobs for them. The new gear lever is a lot smaller and it looks a lot sportier too.
This is the new-generation Fiat steering wheel with controls for audio on it. The instrument cluster has twin dials and it has the same orange backlit interiors. The dashboard is dual tone with black and silver trim. The new Linea is base don the Small Wide platform that it shares with the 500X, 500L and the Jeep Renegade.
This will be the same platform that will be used to build the next-generation Punto as well.
The new Linea will be revealed on the 21st of May and the new Punto should be sometime in early 2016. The Fiat brand will be introducing the new Linea in India with a 1.
4-litre FIRE and T-JET engines and for diesel it shall get the 1.3-litre and the new 1.5-litre multijet (which is at the moment being developed for India).
The Linea will be launched in India not anytime before 2017. Fiat’s current platform is to introduce the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Abarth brand this year. The new-generation Fiat products will be coming in 2017, until then there will be upgrades on the existing Punto and Linea too.
