Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift caught on lens

Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift has been spotted one of Mercedes-Benz fan pages. This looks a lot similar to the masked test mules that have been caught on test on several occasions. The A-Class facelift gets some minor cosmetic upgrades be it exterior and interior. The A-Class facelift will be launched in September at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The new LEDs at the front are similar to that on all the Mercedes-Benz that we have seen. The front grille too has been changed and it no longer gets the diamond-studded grille. The A-Class’ rear will get some minor upgrades too. On the inside, the A-Class will get a new instrument binnacle, a new steering wheels and different controls for the COMAND system.

The A-Class has been spotted in green colour, which also is new if this image isn’t photoshopped. The A45 AMG ‘s 2.0-litre engine will produce 370bhp instead of the 355bhp that it produces at the moment. Mercedes-Benz wants to make the A-Class facelift as the most powerful hatchback, displacing the current leader Audi RS3 hatch.

For India, the A-Class facelift will come in early 2016 and will be powered by a 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces 122bhp and the diesel motor will be a 2.2-litre churning out 140 brake horsepower. So, the engines will continue to be the same. As for the A45 AMG, we can expect to be launched sometime in the end of 2015 or in 2016, but it is surely coming to India as well.
