Salman Khan has been found guilty on the hit-and-run case of 2002 where the verdict says that the Bollywood superstar was behind the wheel of the Toyota LandCruiser that ramped into five people of which one died and four others seriously injured.

As per the reports, the judge has given the verdict that Salman Khan has been reported to be guilty and the punishment is imprisonment for a period of five years. Salman Khan had even been imprisoned for 10 days in 2006 when he had shot Blackbuck deer in Rajasthan. The case took a turn recently, when Francis Fernandes one of Salman Khan’s mentioned that he had seen the actor and helped him to get back home from the location where the accident had happened.

He also mentioned that from what he understands Salman wasn’t drunk and he did look sober, however he mentioned that it was Salman who was driving the SUV.

A lot of money has been riding on Salman Khan as he is the brand ambassador for a lot of products and two of his new movies were half way through. It is clear that the Bollywood actor’s lawyers will be appealing in The Bombay High Court to take the proceeding ahead and finding means to get bail as well. The case charges against Salman Khan are drinking and driving and hit and run.

Maybe today will be a bit late, but the lawyers will start the proceedings as the court realises the verdict copy to both the parties.
