The oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, Royal Enfield, launched the Classic Signals 350 motorcycle today. Conceived as a tribute to Royal Enfield’s 65 years of association with the Indian armed forces (since 1952) the Classic Signals 350 are inspired by the Enfield’s that have been in service of the Indian Army. The Classic Signals 350 will be available in two colors – Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand. These new motorcycles will be available with a dedicated collection of gear and over 40 motorcycle accessories that includes panniers and steel engine guards. It is also the first Royal Enfield in India to come with dual channel ABS.

Launching the Classic Signals 350 motorcycles, Rudratej (Rudy) Singh – President Royal Enfield said “‘Made Like a Gun’, is a motto that we’ve earned at Royal Enfield, as we have had a history of making motorcycles that are resilient, reliable and versatile. We have been associated with Indian Armed Forces since in the early 1950’s and continue to be the largest supplier of motorcycles to the armed forces till date. Inspired by this association we are happy to launch the Classic Signals 350 Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand; two motorcycles that represents our pride of partnering with the men and women who guard our skies and our land”

Classic Signals 350 Price

Revealing the price of the Classic Signals 350 motorcycles Shaji Koshy – Head India Business+, Royal Enfield said “Classic Signals 350 will be available for bookings from August 28th onwards, across all stores in India. The motorcycle will be retailed at a price of Rs. 161,728 (ex-showroom Chennai). Our consumers can also choose from a collection of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, all of which will come with a 2-year warranty”

Classic Signals 350 Colors

The two new color schemes Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand of the Classic Signals take inspiration from coveted units of the Indian Armed Forces. These motorcycles will sport a distinctive stenciled number on the tank representing the production number. Each motorcycle will have a unique number, making each of them an exclusive and one-of-its’s-kind motorcycle.

Classic Signals 350 Design

Both these new Classic 350 bikes are also equipped with saddle bags as a optional extra, crash guards and large windscreens. The bike also gets a unique serial number painted on the tank in large font. The retro appeal is intensified by the blacked-out elements like the exhaust muffler, engine, rims, handlebar and the headlight bezel. The bike also has a metal Royal Enfield badge on the tank finished in gold and green. While the bikes are being displayed without rear seats, Royal Enfield has said that it will provide them with the retailed motorcycle.

Classic Signals 350 Specifications

This new variant remains identical to the standard motorcycle. It’s powered by a 346cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque. Power is transmitted via a 5-speed gearbox. The Classic Signals 350 also features a rear disc brake as opposed to 153mm drum unit as seen on the standard bike.

With the Classic Signals 350, Royal Enfield will introduce Dual Channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for its customers. The dual channel ABS helps prevents wheel locking under sudden application of brakes providing riders with better braking efficiency.
