India Kawasaki Motors launched one of its top end models, Ninja H2. This Ninja H2 was developed with the crossover technologies of Kawasaki Group, and it’s equipped with a 998 cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke in-line four cylinder supercharged engine, achieving powerful acceleration not seen in existing models. The newly designed trellis frame delivers straight-line stability and sporty cornering with its excellent balance of rigidity. The silver-mirror paint applied to the fuel tank and cowl adds a deep luster to its appearance. The Ninja H2, designed for public roads, achieves an engine power of 197bhp.

Technology was not limited to the supercharger. Advanced technological know-how shared from other group companies is found throughout the innovative engine and chassis designs. Such inter-company collaboration and the level of resultant technology poured into this model is the reason the Kawasaki River Mark is displayed prominently on the upper cowl.

In India, the new bikes will be imported as completely built units (CBU) from Japan. Retail is through the Kawasaki Showrooms, currently operational in 5 locations in India. This NinjaH2 will be priced at Rs. 2,900,000 (ex-Showroom Delhi), costing about Rs 33 lakhs on-road in New Delhi. This is the new flagship model for the Kawasaki brand in India.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Yoshitaka Tamura, Managing Director, India Kawasaki Motors said, “We, Kawasaki have pursued new heights in technology, originality and innovation. This Ninja H2 represents our intense spirit put not only for this model, but also for all existing models. I’m sure that this Ninja H2 would further enhance brand image of entire Kawasaki”.
