Suzuki Motorcycles will be launching the Gixxer SF, its new fully faired version of Gixxer on the 7th of April. Suzuki will be selling this bike in three colours, white, blue and black. The blue colour even gets the Suzuki stickers on, and the headlamps seem to be inspired from the Hayabusa.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF will be launched in under a month’s time.

There will be no change in the specifications of the Gixxer SF bike when compared with the regular bike. The engine size of the Gixxer SF will be the same 154.9cc and it will produce 14.8bhp of power and 14Nm of maximum torque. This air-cooled engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The naked bike weighs about 135kgs, however the engineers have retuned the engine for the additional weight.

The Gixxer will be priced at about Rs 1 lakh (on-road price), and this will compete with the Honda CBR 150R and Yamaha Fazer. Suzuki’s two-wheeler market share is on the rise and the Japanese bike manufacturer had recently introduced a new 125cc scooter called as the Swish 125.

Since the launch of the Gixxer, the company has seen a growth of about 20 percent in sales in January and February. This is the brand’s new 125cc scooter and it will compete with the Honda Activa 125 and the Mahindra Rodeo. The Gixxer fully faired bike will be made available in three colours, white, blue and black. This is how the new bike will look. Expect bookings also to commence soon. This is a new name that Suzuki has given to the full-faired bike, as one could have expected GSX-R or GSX-F.
