Mahindra will be introducing the facelift version of the Quanto in the coming few months. The Quanto facelift gets a new hood with air-scoop, new XUV500 inspired front grille, new headlamp, new fog lamps and re-designed front bumpers.

The Quanto’s side profile will be unchanged, however it will get a new set of alloy wheels. Then gone are the roof rails too. The rear also looks the same, but the tail lamps look like LEDs.

The interiors of the Quanto will get a minor upgrade too. The dashboard design is almost the same, however it gets some minor upgrades like a new music system with Bluetooth connectivity, new steering wheel and some more minor upgrades too.

There are multiple minor cosmetic upgrades on the Quanto, but it also gets a major upgrade with its underpinnings. Some fine tuning has been done to the suspension to improve the stability of the compact SUV.

The Quanto’s driving dynamics has been enhanced and it has much better high-speed stability. The Quanto will also get an AMT (automated manual transmission) that will come mated to the same 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel engine, which will produce about 98bhp of power.

The engine has updated as Mahindra and Ssangyong have been working together and have developed six new engines. the pricing of the Quanto will not be changed, maybe a bump of Rs 5,000-10,000.

Mahindra is looking at export markets with the Quanto and so it has been testing the 2.2-litre mHawk for exports with 4×4 ability. This will be majorly exported to the European market. Mahindra will be introducing the new Bolero too, click here to see the interiors of the new Bolero.
