Ford Aspire 2019 will receive subtle changes in facelift

The new Ford Aspire 2019 facelift is likely to come by the end of this year. The Figo facelift is expected soon too. The car is going to get styling updates and a new engine. There will be more features also offers this time. The car is expected to borrow some features from the newly launched Ecosport and the Freestyle. With the addition of the new engine, the car will continue to use the segment bashing 1.5-litre diesel motor too.

The Ford Aspire 2019 is likely to be launched in the start of next year or the mid 2019. The company has just launched the Ecosport S and Signature editions, with new features. The car will be launched after the introduction of the facelifted Ford Figo, possibly in July. The changes to the Ford Aspire 2019 will be minimal. It will be a minor facelift.

Ford Aspire 2019 Interiors

The interiors of the Ford Aspire 2019 will be new and more premium. With subtle changes the dashboard layout, instrument cluster and the infotainment system. There is no expectation of new interior colors coming. Beige and Brown will continue on the dashboard. This new model will get more features like keyless entry, 8-inch touchscreen system with SYNC 3, reverse camera, navigation and even Android Auto. With the addition of new features, the compact sedan will be a better value product.

The car is expected to get leather seats and the lower variants are expected to get a new fabric in place. No other changes are expected in the facelift.

There will be no change in the space inside of the car. The front seats offer decent support. There is more than sufficient headroom and knee room for front passengers. The knee room at the rear is good. Rear AC vents be expected to come with this car, the Figo might not get them. The boot size will remain the same at 359 litres.

The price for the 2019 Ford Aspire will be the same as the current model. There will be no change of price. The base model for the petrol starts at INR 6.77 lakhs with top end petrol automatic going up to INR 10.2 lakhs. The base diesel starts at INR 8.18 lakhs and goes up to INR 10.11 lakhs in the Titanium Plus range.

The cars basic stance and looks are going to remain the same. The Ford Aspire 2019 is a facelift. The car will not see major changes to the exterior. The design of the Ford Aspire 2019 will see some minimal changes. The basic design will not change. There won’t be any change to the dimensions. There will be a new front grille and stylish new headlamps. The front fog lamps will be restyled and the front bumper will have a new design too.

The sides will not see any change. A new alloy wheels design will come this time. The lower variants will get new wheel covers. The rear will also see a new bumper in place.  However, the rear design will be identical to the current car. There will not be a major change to the exteriors.

The Ford Aspire 2019 will receive a huge update in the form of the new petrol 1.2-litre Dragon engine coming. The new engine will be available with all trims, right from the Ambient to Titanium Plus which boasts six airbags. The diesel engine on the Aspire will be the 1.5-litre workhorse that makes around 98bhp and 200Nm of torque. The diesel will be mated to a manual only.

The fuel-efficiency for the petrol manual is about 12km/l in the city and 16km/l on the highway. The automatic will return about 11km/l in the city and 14km/l on the highway. The diesel is more efficient at 17km/l in the city and about 20km/l on the highway.
