The Volkswagen Ameo’s design is inspired form the Polo and the Vento. This compact sedan resembles the Polo, with a two slat grille along with the pulled back headlamps.The Ameo shares the same wheelbase like the Polo and the design is same till the C-pillar.The rear of the Ameo looks somewhat like the Skoda Rapid. The Ford Figo Aspire comes as fresh breath for the compact sedan segment, as far as exterior styling is concerned. Being based on the Figo hatchback, it doesn’t look disproportionate. It has a large front fascia comprising of an Aston Martin-esque grille, the Figo Aspire stands out to be on the best looking compact sedans.

The Volkswagen Ameo will be coming with a 1.2-litre MPI petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The power rating hasn’t been disclosed officially, however it is likely to be a 75bhp petrol with a five-speed manual and an all new 110bhp diesel engine with five-speed manual and seven-speed DSG.
Ford Figo Aspire comes with a total of three engines.
