Maruti Swift Dzire vs Maruti Baleno Comparison: Maruti Suzuki has said that it will be recalling its Baleno cars to upgrade a software that controls the airbag. The total number of cars to be recalled are 75,419, bot in petrol and diesel, manufactured between August 3, 2015 and May 17, 2016. Maruti will be contacting owners from May 31, 2016. Customers can check online if their Baleno is part of the recall, by entering the chassis number. Affected cars will have their airbag controller software upgraded, and those with a faulty fuel filter will get a replacement part. The software upgrade will be carried out free of cost.

In addition, 1,961 numbers of  DZire Diesel cars have also been recalled to attended to for inspection and replacement of a faulty fuel filter. These are the AMT or Auto Gear Shift variants only.
