The Mahindra Nuvosport will be the newest player in this segment. This is another compact SUV from Mahindra that will be competing with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Ford Ecosport. The new Mahindra Nuvosport will be a more premium compact SUV when compared to the TUV300.

The Mahindra Nuvosport will be launched on 4th of April. Here is a comparison for them:

Mahindra Nuvosport vs Maruti Vitara Brezza

Mahindra Nuvosport and Maruti Vitara Brezza both have a good road presence. Both these compact SUVs come with LEDs in the headlamps, large front grille and stylish headlamps.  On one side, the Vitara Brezza looks muscular and stylish, while on the other hand the Nuvosport is sporty and has the rugged looks. Both these SUVs stand out in the crowd.

On the inside, it is the Mahindra that is a lot more spacious and at the same time it is a seven-seater, while the Vitara Brezza is a five-seater. In terms of features, both of them loaded with features, however the Vitara Brezza gets some extra features over the Nuvosport. This is where Maruti Suzuki shines. The other area where Maruti Suzuki is strong is power. The Nuvosport will come with a 80bhp engine while the Vitara Brezza has a 90bhp one. The ladder frame body of the Nuvosport is heavier and this makes the Vitara Brezza much more powerful to drive. Where the Nuvosport excels is more space, a rugged ladder frame structure, an option of AMT as well and the space utilisation. Our pick of the two is the Vitara Brezza, thanks to the power, features and even the engine it offers.

Mahindra Nuvosport vs Ford Ecosport

The Mahindra Nuvosport looks rugged on the other hand the Ford Ecosport looks trendy. Both will appeal to different car buyers. The Ford Ecosport has a strong diesel and petrol engines on offer. There are some features are extra on the Ecosport while the Nuvosport gets some additional ones like touchscreen infotainment system, maps etc. Mahindra has better space and is a five-seater, while the Ecosport has better driving dynamics. The Ecosport is our pick of the lot, if the Nuvosport is priced similarly.
