MotoDreamz and Bhor Motor Sports – Off Road Adventure Show 2015

The Off Road Adventure Show 2015, organized by Motodreamz and Bhor Motorsports on 14th and 15th March,2015, was a thrilling experience for the participants, as well as spectators. The two day event included driving on several different kinds of trails, such as Ladder Climb, Down hill, Deep slush, Winching trail, Reverse gear trail, Fast track and a Jungle Safari trail. It also included camping at Adventure Plus, Bhor.

The event saw participation from various cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kolhapur, Satara, Ahmednagar, Sangli, Bijapur and Gokak. 50 vehicles including Mahindra Thar, Maruti Gypsy and Force Gurkha formed the fleet.

The natural terrains were infused with obstacles such as huge pipes and deep slush. The first trail was climbing a steep uphill then a downhill and deep slush of 200 meters, while the second trail was through a natural spring. The third trail challenged the participants to drive halfway, where the vehicle would stall and then pulling the vehicle up with a winch tugged by a crane. The fourth trail was a reverse gear course including uphill and downhill, followed by a 3kms long jungle trail.

The final challenge was a fast-track trail where drivers had to record best times.
Shivaji Mohite from Kolhapur bagged the ‘Best Driver’ award, while the ‘Best Equipped Vehicle’ prize was taken away by Ayub Khan from Gokak. MotoDreamz and Bhor Motorsports had organised an Off-Road Adventure event on 14th &15th March 2015 at Bhor, near Pune. The two-day event promises to be a fun filled adventure on a variety of tracks specially chosen to demonstrate off road challenges and ways to overcome them, with optimum utilisation of 4X4.
