Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Design
The Ciaz definitely looks premium and it proudly carries itself well too. There is a large chrome grille in the front placed between and the headlamps. The front end is attractive and it stands out in a crowd. The long bonnet makes the car look big too. The Ciaz also gets premium paint quality. It uses metallic colours mostly.
The Ciaz actually feels from a segment above, such is its premium feel. The rear portion has a modern design too but it resembles the Honda City to a great extent. From a distance both cars look identical, from the rear. Overall, the styling of the Ciaz is refreshing and sophisticated.

The interiors of the Ciaz are completely new and different from any other Maruti car. The neatly laid out dashboard has a seven-inch touchscreen system. The Ciaz is comes loaded with features like push button start, keyless entry, bluetooth connectivity, navigation, reverse parking camera and sensors.
The Ciaz is not stingy on spacious too. There is good head room and leg room available. The seats are not the best but provide good comfort. It could have done with some more under thigh support. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Engines
The Maruti Ciaz comes with two engine options. The first is a 1.4-litre petrol engine that produces 90bhp and 130Nm of torque. The second engine is a diesel that comes with a 1.3-litre engine with 90bhp too and 200Nm of torque. These engines are offered with a five-speed manual transmission. The petrol also gets a four-speed automatic. The diesel comes only with manual transmission. In terms of power, both engines offer a good performance. There is hardly any lag and they are good to drive in the city as well as the highway. The Ciaz cruises very well and we were quite impressed with that ability. The driveability of the car is positive hence it eliminates the need for frequent gearshifts in the city. The NHV levels are also low and there is hardly any engine noise intrusion in the cabin, even in the diesel. The gearbox has smooth shifts.
The Ciaz feels like a complete package. It has everything going for it. Though it is not a very quick sprinting car, it delivers linear power. It can cruise comfortably, keeping the driver and other occupants comfortable.
