Skoda Kodiaq vs Toyota Fortuner Design

The Skoda Kodiaq takes inspiration for the Vision S concept. The Kodiaq has Czech crystal glass which is set into the headlamps of the Kodiaq. The front grille is a three-dimensional and attractive one. It commands good road presence as well. This SUV is intelligently designed, hence doesn’t look as big as it is. It is built on a monocoque chassis, unlike the Fortuner.

In terms of styling, the Toyota Fortuner seems to be streamlined in design. The first-generation was a hit and the design had grown old. The new generation doesn’t look anywhere close to the outgoing version. The new Fortuner has slimmer headlamps, daytime running LEDs, 18-inch wheels and the sporty element carries to the rear as well.

Skoda Kodiaq vs Toyota Fortuner Interiors

The Skoda Kodiaq has interiors that are contemporary and also exude a very premium feel. The cabin is also quite utilitarian. The interiors feel solidly built.Skoda vehicles are generally spacious, hence, we expect the new SUV to have more than sufficient space at least in the first two rows. The third row might be ideal for children or if adults occupy them, then suitable for short distances. The interiors shall be black and beige or just black depending on the variant one buys. There will be multiple LED screens offered.

Skoda kodiaq Interior

The Fortuner now gets much improved interiors. They feel premium but also tacky at some places. Fortuner’s cabin is well laid out and it does look and feel modern but the dashboard is quite busy and lacks the premium feel of the Kodiaq. The Fortuner’s all black interiors do look sporty. The space for the first two rows is good enough while that for the third row could have been a bit better.
