Honda City 2020
You get the lock, unlock and boot release switch on the key. The thick front chrome grille is now a signature look of all Honda cars including Amaze and Civic. The front fascia thus looks quite similar. Top model comes with LED headlamps and DRLs. The bonnet size is little small compared to its overall proportions. The side look is the same as its predecessor with strong angular lines.
You get 16-inch alloy wheels with ventilated disc brakes. Honda City 2020 also comes with a lane watch camera underneath the left side ORVM. You get passive entry for both the front seats. The rear design is completely different and fresh. The boot space is quite big with a higher loading lip. You also get the same 16-inch alloy wheel as the spare tyre in the top model.
The looks of the car have remained the same since 2012. The spare tyre is smaller here. Not many changes have been made to design elements of the car. You can call it an “8-year old” design. The Monte Carlo edition comes with black rear spoiler lip along with badging.

You also get blacked out Octavia-styled front grille which makes it look like a mini-Octavia. This is the only top model sedan with Yellow lights.
This is the most stylish car of the lot. According to MotorOctane, this is the best sedan in terms of styling. The big front grille with blackish chrome is a definite eye-catcher. You also get sharp-looking LED headlamps and DRLs on the front of the car. This also has the most aggressive styling among the lot with Rapid behind it.

You get shark fin antenna in both City and Verna. The rear profile of the car is quite similar to the previous generation with similar fluidic design component. The interior quality here is one of the best in the segment. The door ‘Thud’ noise is solid and makes the car feel sturdier. There is no diesel option to choose from. Safety features include Airbags and ABS with EBD. The overall dashboard design is almost the same since 2012.
You get a new touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The visibility of this screen is the best in the segment. The rear parking camera is also better than the rivals. The sound system is average and loudness is well below the competition. The rear seats are fully upright in contrast to recline.
You get minimum headroom and legroom in this car. You get a centre armrest without cupholders. There is also a large raised tunnel in between, making it uncomfortable for the third passenger. However you get rear AC vents, 12V charging socket and single-cup holder between the seats. You also get sunblinds in all the three cars.
Premiumness and touch and feel of the dual-tone interiors are the best in the segment. All the seats are plush and comfortable. The solidity, build quality and door’s ‘Thud’ noise it a notch lower compared to rivals. You get 4 airbags starting from base model itself. The dashboard looks simplistic. You get non-adjustable armrest for the front passengers.
You also get the biggest sunroof in Honda City. The sound system is loud, bass friendly and clear. You get 3 rear headrests in this car. This is the most comfortable rear seat comfort car in its segment. You get armrest with cupholders. This is also the best chauffeur driven car option at this price point. You also get rear AC vents and charging points. Small storage places are plenty. The rear seat comfort in terms of suspension is not the best.
The interiors of this car are known for its freshness and modern looks. The interiors are more subtle and sporty. You also get a host of safety features here. Seat comfort is decent. This is the only car in its segment with a fully digital instrument cluster.
The touchscreen infotainment system is good with BlueLink. The reverse parking camera quality could have been better. The sound system here is more treble friendly with medium loudness. You get minimum headroom and legroom here too. The rear seat comfort is pretty good with large armrest. Rear AC vents and charging point are present too.
