The Ducati Diavel is one of the most exclusive bikes in the world. The machoism that it displays is matched by very few bikes. Ducati have launched a limited edition of the Diavel and the deliveries of this bike have already begun. What is the Ducati Diavel Diesel all about? Read further to know more.

The Ducati Diavel Diesel was unveiled earlier this year and was launched in India in March 2017. The bike is priced at ₹ 21,72,000 (ex-showroom) and is sold through at Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Kolkata. Globally, only 666 number of units of the Ducati Diavel Diesel have been produced. The bike is a result of a collaboration between  Andrea Rosso, Creative Director of premium casual wear brand Diesel Licensing, and the Ducati Design Center in Italy.  The Diavel Diesel carries all the traits of the Diavel including the same engine, but gets some add ons and customized components to enhance its design.

Ducati India Managing Director Sergi Canovas Garriga said, “The Diavel family has been one of the bestsellers in our portfolio. The Ducati Diavel Diesel is a very special motorcycle that exemplifies craftsmanship and style in every detail.

Our dealers have seen a lot of interest in this limited edition motorcycle and deliveries have started in India.”

The Ducati Diavel Diesel comes with several enhancements like a hand-brushed stainless steel superstructure with exposed welding and rivets. There is red colour on the air intake covers,  front brake calipers (Brembo), five chain links and the LCD instrument. The bike has a different exhaust system. It comes with black Zircotec ceramic coating and black silencers, the ends of which are machined. AnThe bike also gets a unique retro-styled ribbed brown leather seat trim. In all, this is a real badass looking motorcycle. One that Mad Max would have loved to have.

The Ducati Diavel Diesel comes fitted with a  1198 cc, L-twin, Testastretta 11-degree engine. This engine develops 152bhp of power and 123Nm of maximum torque. The Ducati Safety Pack, which includes ABS and Ducati Traction Control comes as standard equipment. It also has various riding modes. The bike has a strong chassis which is very wide too. It encompasses the wide 240mm rear tyre, which makes the bike stand out. This chassis delivers rock solid stability and also ease of riding in daily commutes.

Ducati India is offering special festive season offers on select motorcycles and exclusive finance schemes. There are also exchange offers and apparel and accessory benefits of up to ₹ 1,00,000. This is for a for a limited period, though.
