2019 Yamaha R15 V3 ABS launched at Rs 1.39 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi)
The R15 is a really great bike with characteristics loved by enthusiasts who would let it loose on the track. Now with the 2019 Yamaha R15 V3 ABS, the manufacturer is finally offering ABS which will be mandatory for the company to offer under the upcoming BS6 laws. The R15 V3 does not get a single channel ABS unit that most manufacturers would think is cost effective. The bike will actually get a dual channel ABS unit which will make the bike extremely safe and aid the rider more effectively.
The 2019 Yamaha R15 V3 ABS will mostly be offered with only an ABS model and the R15 V3 non-ABS model is going to be discontinued.
2019 Yamaha R15 V3 ABS Price
Though we expected a significant price increase, the price of the R15 is still not bad. The extra Rs 2000 is now for the Darknight edition, which is a new color scheme offered. We would also like to point out that the R15 was earlier offered with a MotoGP livery. We have no word yet if that option is still available.

2019 Yamaha R15 V3 ABS Design
The bikes looks will remain largely the same. The low stance with the mean high pillion seat will continue to make this bike look like an aggressive track monster. With its weight (wet) of 142 kg and a massive 170 mm ground clearance, the new Yamaha R15 V3 ABS with dual channel ABS gets a stylish look from its fully digital instrument console, LED head and tail light and an added ABS logo. The R15 does also come with a different livery in its MotoGP edition.
2019 Yamaha R15 V3 ABS Specifications
The newest addition here will be the 2019 Yamaha R15 ABS will be getting a dual channel ABS unit. The bike will continue to get a single cylinder liquid cooled engine that will make 19bhp and 15Nm of torque. This engine will continue to be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. It will also continue to get dual disc brakes that will now be paired with dual channel ABS. Tyre size will be 17-inches for both front and rear.
