Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is testing a new 125cc commuter motorcycle, reveal the spy-shots taken by the folks at GaadiWaadi. The company, needless to say, is on a vehicle launching spree as it has already launched 10 fresh products this year in India with most recent being the Honda Livo commuter bike.

It has been learnt that this new motorcycle spied as a test mule would be presented as a replacement for CB Shine. Going by the couple of images that we have, it can be said that this new Honda offering has a slight resemblance to Hero Hunk due to the similar headlamp cowl.

Also, several other elements such as a front windshield, new side panels, new tail light, clear lens indicators, a single, long seat, a grab rail, 5-spoke black alloy wheels, drum brakes and a full chain cover can be seen. The company officials have been tightlipped regarding this development and haven’t revealed anything.

As for suspensions, it would have a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. While the exact mechanicals of the motorcycle are still unknown, the engine is believed to feature Honda Eco Technology (HET), like all the other recently launched company models. For those asking, Honda is all set to launch the CBR 650F on 4th August at REVFEST in the country.

The bookings for the Honda CBR 650F have already started and it is expected to cost a whopping INR 9 lakhs (on-road).
