Honda X-Blade has recently got a BS6 update. This bike is now priced at Rs 1.06 lakhs. With this price tag, it has a very strong competition to look at. In this article, we break it down for you. Suzuki Gixxer

Now let’s assume that you have somewhat more money to spare. Then you should definitely look at the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 155. This bike is priced at Rs 1.13 lakhs but it stands in the list of Honda X-Blade Competitors as the bike has a lot of oomph factor. You will definitely save some money buying the Honda X-Blade but will you have the fun factor to it? We doubt.

The way the Suzuki Gixxer delivers power is very exciting and it does make for a very great bike which does commuting with a pinch of excitement. The Gixxer engine produces a power of 13.4bhp and 13.8Nm of Torque

TVS Apache 160

Honda X-Blade Competitors has a bike that is priced at Rs 1.02 lakhs. TVS Apache 160 undercuts the Honda X-Blade and also offers a much sporty looking bike. The comfort on the Honda is expected to be same as the Apache but the way the Apache feels is raw and aggressive. Also, the exhaust note on the TVS apache gives it some cookie points.

The Apache 160 engine is tuned to give a power output of 15.8bhp and 14.2Nm of torque. This is far better than the Gixxer and you save some money too.

Hero Xtreme 160R

This is the latest entrant in this 160cc segment and the bike is supposedly a lightweight contender in the lightweight bikes. Although we haven’t got our hands on the bike the basic figures of the bike look promising. The price is low at Rs 99,950 and the bike has good specs on paper. Also with a new design, it ties a neat ribbon to Honda X-Blade Competitors list.

Yamaha FZ V3

This is the oldest bike in this segment. The design is in its 3 gen but lacks the sleek design and sharp lines that are seen on the Honda. The price too is at Rs Rs 99,700 making it the only reason why it is on this Honda X-Blade Competitors list.

The Yamaha FZ V3 makes a power of 12.2bhp and a torque of 13.6Nm. This is the least powerful among the lot and also the oldest. We do not recommend you going for this bike unless you are on budget constraints.
