Two more launches after the Tiago in 2016!

Tata Motors will be launching two more products this year. The first launch that is scheduled is the Xenon and then it is the Hexa. The new Xenon has completed its cycle of testing and it will be launched around July. The new Xenon has an upgraded chassis that makes it a lot more flexible. The Indian automaker has worked on a lot of aspects on the Xenon and the new one will be coming with a 2.2-litre diesel engine along with an option of manual and even automatic transmission.

The first Tata vehicle to get an automatic is the Xenon not the Safari or the Hexa. This transmission will be then shared with the Safari Strome and even the upcoming new product Hexa. The Hexa will be launched in September this year. The Kite 5 launch has been delayed to early next year. The Tata brand is looking at getting back its strength in the lifestyle segment. With the new Xenon, the company will increase its exports thus garnishing its profits further.

Pick-ups are a big hit in many markets across the world, however the Xenon had grown old and didn’t have an option of an automatic. This will help Tata Motors to gain a major advantage in exports as pick-ups are a niche market in India. Tata Motors will not want Isuzu to get the monopoly advantage with its newly launched pick-up for India.

Tata Hexa will also have a limited production capacity for India, as the company will look at exporting this crossover to other markets than purely using it for India. Tata will want to tap in to the new Innova Crysta and the Mahindra XUV500 with the Hexa.
