Maruti’s YBA (likely to be named as Vitara Brezza) will be powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine and no the 1.5-litre. We were the first to report at the start of this year, and even even reported that the YBA will be getting a ZDi+ variant too. The YBA will be powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine options. We aren’t certain on which petrol engine will be used and if only diesel will be offered just like the S-Cross.

The YBA will be the compact SUV from Maruti Suzuki that will be competing with the Ford Ecosport and will launched sometime in early 2016. The YBA will be getting features like keyless entry, push start and stop, touchscreen system with navigation, reverse parking sensor, rear AC vents and bluetooth connectivity. The YBA will be priced at INR 8-12.5 lakhs (on-road) approximately.

Maruti has launched two new products this year and the next in line will be the YBA and the Ignis. Two of its new compact SUVs. The YBA will be under four metres and will have a ground clearance of about 200mm. The tailgate will come mounted with the spare wheel. There won’t be a 1.5-litre Suzuki diesel engine on offer at the moment. The 1.3-litre diesel engine will be producing about 90bhp of power and 210Nm of maximum torque. The Ignis is based on Suzuki’s new fifth-generation platform.
