Abarth Punto and Avventura to be launched on 19th October -EXCLUSIVE

Fiat will be launching the Abarth Punto and the Avventura in Delhi on the 19th of October. The Avventura wasn’t announced in the launch invite but it will be revealed as well.

The Punto and the Avventura range, both will get launched in their Abarth avatar.

The Abarth Punto and Avventura are powered by a 1.4-litre T-JET engine that produces about 144bhp of power and will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Both these vehicles will be priced between INR 9.

5-10.5 lakhs (on-road) approximately.

The exterior styling will be different on the Abarth and it will shod bigger wheels and the interiors too will get some changes. There will be bluetooth music streaming as well on the Avventura and Punto and these will be trickled down to the other Fiat products as well.

The ground clearance of both shall be reduced as well as they will have better handling characteristics than the regular Fiat. The Abarth Punto will be the first hot hatchback India will get and so will even the Avventura be the first crossover with this much power. Volkswagen will be next in line to introduce the Polo GTi, which will also be another hot hatchback from the German automaker for India.
