The Fiat Avventura has been spied under the Abarth guise. Abarth brand in India will encompass three products, the already launched 595 Competizione, the soon to be launched Abarth Punto and thirdly the Avventura crossover.

The Avventura Powered by Abarth is expected to launch soon after the Abarth Punto, which is to be launched on 19th October. The Abarth Avventura will  be powered by the same 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine, which will deliver 140bhp and 210Nm of torque and come with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Abarth Avventura is expected to do 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds, a little slower than the Abarth Punto, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.1 km/l, which is higher in comparison to the Abarth Punto’s 16.3 km/l. The Abarth Avventura will also receive disc brakes on all wheels, like the Abarth Punto.

Unlike the race-bred Abarth Punto, which gets racing stripes, body decals and a Scorpion logo on the roof, the Abarth Avventura will receive subtle exterior changes. The alloy wheels will be shared with the Abarth Punto and will have ‘Powered by Abarth’ badging.
