Suzuki Burgman Street BS6 has been unveiled by the manufacturer at Auto Expo 2020, Noida. The showcased models also included MotoGP edition. It is expected to go on sale by the March. To know more about the changes and the price, features and specifications continue reading below.

Powertrain

The Suzuki Burgman Street BS6 will be equipped with the same 125 cc engine, but now with the BS6 tweaks. The engine will now include fuel-injection. The power and torque output will remain similar to BS4 version, presumed due to recently launched Access 125 BS6, as the same engine is shared with the Access 125.

The BS6 engine produces around 8.

7 bhp max power at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The Burgaman BS6 will be equipped with the Suzuki’s ‘easy start stop system’, the system lets the engine start in just a single click and not to hold for a while. The starter will be a silent unit.

Features

The features more or less will remain same as the Burgman Street BS4 version. It will continue to get all-LCD instrument console, LED headlamps, 12V charging socket, tubeless tyres, multi-function key slot and disc brake at the front. Hardware will also be retained from the predecessor, it will have 12-inch front wheel and 10-inch rear wheel. The suspension duty will be managed by telescopic suspension at front and hydraulic single suspension at rear.

New colour scheme

The company showcased the MotoGP edition of the Burgman Street, but it is not yet confirmed yet, it depends on the customer response and demand. However we hope it to be launch, as it will stand out from the crowd easily.

Price

The price of the Burgman Street BS6 will be premium of Rs 5,000 to 6,000 over the BS4 version. For reference the BS4 version costs around Rs 71,000(ex-showroom, Delhi). The MotoGP edition will be Rs 1,000 to 2,000 expensive than the regular version. It will compete against the upcoming Aprilia SXR 125, Honda Grazia and TVS Ntorq.
