Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI) has officially announced that CBR 650F would be launched on 4th August 2015 in the country. It is the company’s 10th launch of this year, out of its planned fifteen products. Honda CBR 650F is powered by a 649 cc four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which generates a maximum power output of 86bhp at 11000 rpm and peak torque performance of 63Nm at 8000 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

It is being learnt through various sources that CBR 650F would be sold in 20 cities in India, initially. The company would assemble 2 bikes per day, with local content of around 5 per cent. The CBR 650 would be offered in one body colour option while being based on a twin-spar steel frame.
