Maruti Alto 800 to get an update -EXCLUSIVE

Maruti Alto 800 will be getting an update soon in the coming few months. The Alto 800 will get some more features and will also be offered with AMT. As Renault has plans to introduce the Kwid around the festive season, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up with a titivated version of the Alto 800 against the Kwid.

Renault wants to storm the market with its new revolutionary hatchback and shake up the entry-level hatchback segment. But with the numbers being a major strong point for Maruti Suzuki it will be looking at continuing to dominate and increase its lead over competition. The Alto 800 will get some new additional features and this will make buyers to stay loyal to the Alto brand.

India’s highest selling car brand will want to retain its spot by increasing the features on Maruti Suzuki’s bread and butter hatchback. The Alto K10 is also likely to get an upgrade and this will mean that Maruti Suzuki will not wait for its numbers to fall. As Suzuki has been increasing pushing production and R&D in India, it will want to continue leading the market.

Hyundai will continue to sell the Eon 800cc and the 1000cc without any upgrades for a while. Datsun too is looking at enhancing the GO and GO+ with a lot more features in its segment and making it a lot more value for money, as the Renault Kwid will be looking at entering the market.
