Tata Motors register Zica and Sway names

Tata Motors has registered another set of names this time as per our sources. The two names registered are Sway and Zica.

The meaning of sway isn’t hidden from all of us and one of the meanings is “To control”. Zica on the other hand means hypen, which could even mean extension. So, could Sway stand for the Kite hatchback and Zica as the compact sedan (as the hypenation of the hatchback?) It is still a bit early to come any conclusion for this. But yes it is confirmed that Tata Motors is looking at these two names for the Kite twins. We could consider this as a speculation. Our sources state that Glade might not be the name for any of the Kite twins. The Kite twins will be based on the Indica platform, however they will have several modifications on them for better driving dynamics. The Kite twins will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.05-litre three-cylinder diesel engine as well. The Zica and the Sway could be on the way, especially after Zest and Bolt. The diesel engine is likely to be one of the most fuel-efficient diesel engines in the country, but we cannot assure anything at the moment.

The interiors of the two will be borrowed heavily from the Zest and Bolt. The steering wheel will be the same with controls on them, there will be voice command, integrated music system, electrical adjustable mirrors being some of the features of these twins.

The twins will be launched around the festive season, mostly sometime before it (assuming August will be a good time).
