With AMT (automated manual transmission), which at the moment is the most affordable clutch-free driving, has increased the awareness and demand for AMTs.Nissan has a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces about 75bhp of power and comes mated to this CVT box. Nissan’s diesel engine is the 1.5-litre K9K that churns out 65bhp of power and comes only with a five-speed manual transmission.

The Micra is available with XL, XV and XV Premium variants of which only the XV variant has CVT.
