Honda has been working on introducing the facelift version of the Amaze, and we could expect a launch sometime around the festive season. Honda has made multiple changes on the Amaze and at the moment the company is testing out the prototypes in petrol and diesel engines. Honda has even sending prototypes to Japan for both the engines and these are all pre-production models. Looking at the pricing, it is clear that Honda is looking at introducing at upgrading the Amaze.

Some of our sources mention that there shall be multiple changes on the compact sedan to make it look premium with a lot of new features that other competitors are now offering. At the moment, Maruti Suzuki is the leader in this segment with the DZire with more features and higher claimed mileage too.

We could witness a sea of changes in the facelift version of the Amaze. On the outside there might not be multiple changes, however, it is inside where the major change will occur. Honda at the moment has the most powerful compact sedan, and very recently a new variant VX was introduced on the Amaze, which gets a touch screen AVN (audio-video navigation) system.
