A report from Motor.es suggests that Jaguar Land Rover has been sandbagging everyone as it has been testing the Jaguar J-Pace, a larger version of the F-Pace with a masked body of Range Rover Evoque long-wheelbase. When they spotted this test mule, they did notice a lot of things that did look out of proportion for the Range Rover Evoque. jaguar-j-pace-201521177_5

To begin with as one will observe the hood and the wheel axles, they are certainly a lot wider than they look and even the front bumper is narrower than the hood. At the rear, the back of the Evoque should be expanded to house the wheels of the rear axle by a prominent wheel arches. Another thing to consider is how stands the mouth of the fuel tank, in one of the images shows that matches the width of the wheels. Then even the front grille isn’t this big on the Land Rovers, so again it isn’t a Land Rover and more of a Jaguar.

Jaguar is likely to surprise the competition with the F-Pace and a larger vehicle to compete with the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and the Audi Q7. On the inside too, it has interiors that are a lot similar to the F-Pace and looking at the boot is large enough to add two more seats there. Motor.es has spotted this test mule and are confident that Jaguar is preparing to introduce another SUV that will be an AWD (all-wheel drive) and differentiate it from a Land Rover. Moreover it doesn’t even have Range Rover  Evoque-like alloy wheels.
