Suzuki Motor Corporation is now developing a new safety system for better braking. This new braking technology is called as Dual Camera Brake Support, which clearly states that this technology will have two cameras to understand and brake accordingly. The feedback will be taken from two cameras and the ECU will guide in braking to avoid any kind of collision.

Suzuki has been developing this technology and very recently the company has patented the “Dual Camera Brake Support” technology very recently.

This will be added on to the next-generation of the Suzuki products, especially the higher-end ones. Suzuki is also working on hybrid for the next-generation Swift and with India being an important market for Suzuki, it will be looking at making low-cost hybrid technology for the next-generation Swift. The current generation Swift also comes with an hybrid option, but it is still in very early stage.

Suzuki has given a few Swift hybrids to the Indian government for testing purpose. To enhance the fuel-efficiency further, Suzuki will be introducing start-stop system on the Ciaz and the Ertiga. With the tagline of “Kitna deti hai?” Maruti Suzuki had lost the tag of highest fuel-efficient cars to Honda Amaze and City, however it has recently got back the tag with the Ciaz and the Swift DZire facelift. Suzuki is working not just towards fuel-efficiency but also towards making safer cars too.
