This engine will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission and an option of six-speed automatic ZF transmission will also be made available.

The other interior upgrade will include a new dashboard with an in-dash Harman music system.

This music system will play music through its 10-speaker system. The Safari Storme’s downside were its old-school style interiors, which didn’t work in its favour and it even had less features, when compared to the competition. So, now Tata Motors will embellish the new Safari Storme with multiple features including a new steering wheel and even expect the SUV to get cruise control as well. The Safari Storme’s entry-level pricing will get a hike of about Rs 30,000 after all the road taxes, but the new top-of-the-line variant will cost about Rs 15 lakhs for the manual 4×4 version.

On the outside, the Safari will also get some minor cosmetic upgrades and bigger wheels could be offered as an option. The facelift Safari Storme will get the ninth generation ABS and dual airbags will be available on the higher-spec variants. There is still another couple of months to go before the Safari Storme could be introduced.

Tata Motors has been testing the Safari Storme with the new set of interiors for a while and at the moment a final check is happening.
